13 Ways to be happier in 2013

This post by digital marketer, Anise Smith, on how to be happier in the coming year was too good not to share. Anise lays out very simple objectives which everyone can easily follow that will decrease stress, improve productivity and generally help foster a state of well-being. Rather than rehash what she said, I’d rather take you right to the original so you too can enjoy what she has shared and hopefully employ it in your own life as well. A snippet follows:

“I find that life is a constant growing and evolving process, you can either guide the evolution by controlling your own destiny or have your destiny decided for you.  The latter is a sure path to unhappiness. As women, we tend to spend so much time being the caregivers that we sometimes forget about ourselves and this is also a direct path to unhappiness. I have been guilty of this quite a bit in the past until I took a look at my life and realized that I had fallen short on many levels.”
